Two stunning features of the Transfiguration as we celebrate that Feast today:

• That Moses and Elijah are there to talk with Jesus about his pending Passion.
• That Jesus’s pending Passion is called “his exodus.” (Grateful that the RSV keeps that translated as “exodus” and not “departure.")
